Job summary

Santander Consumer USA Inc. is seeking a skilled professional to join the Front Office Technology ION Team in New York. You will analyze business requirements, implement solutions, and maintain trading systems in line with Fixed Income needs.

The role focuses on on-premises ION infrastructure, system upgrades, and collaboration with vendor platforms to deliver robust trading capabilities. A Bachelor's degree is required.

The Difference You Make:

The Front Office Technology ION Team is responsible for designing, developing, implementing and maintaining Trading Systems in accordance with the needs of the Fixed Income businesses. Activities include evaluating, scheduling and resourcing development projects, understanding user needs, developing, testing and maintaining trading applications, and preparing systems documentation. Executes technical plans, system analysis, detailed design specifications, development, unit and integration testing.

In this role the individual will be part of a team that owns the on premises ION infrastructure. Primary focus will be analyzing business requirements, implementing solutions and performing/testing platform upgrades.

Education:
  • Bachelor’s Degree: in related field or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education - Required
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience and strong background in development, support or business analysis within Capital Markets (Fixed Income, Equities, Securitized Products)
  • Extensive experience within the ION Fixed Income environment and experience in relevant technologies (Oracle, Linux)
  • Prior experience in deployment and integration of vendor platforms (ION, Bloomberg TOMS, Fidessa, Murex)
  • Able to build solid, effective working relationships with others.
  • Able to analyze and resolve complex issues and problems in a sound and timely fashion.
  • Able to assimilate relevant data from a variety of sources, analyze, and recommend appropriate courses of action to take.
  • Able to constructively work under stress and pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines.
  • Able to express ideas clearly and convey necessary information.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage competing priorities.

What Else You Need To Know:

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.

Base Pay Range:

Minimum: $175,000.00 USD

Maximum: $220,000.00 USD
