Casechek, based in Chicago, seeks a hands-on VP Finance to lead day-to-day financial operations and scale the business. Reporting to the COO, you will own budgeting, forecasting, accounting oversight, and financial reporting, partnering with CEO/board to guide strategy and capital allocation.

The role blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution across FP&A, cash management, and systems, in a hybrid/remote setup with a strong emphasis on cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years in finance/accounting, SaaS or recurring revenue.
• Experience working in a fast-paced start-up environment.
• Strong cross-functional communication with leadership.
• Hands-on AR/AP and budgeting/forecasting.
• Deep knowledge of SaaS metrics and GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Lead FP&A, budgets, forecasts, and operating model development.
• Oversee monthly close, GAAP compliance, and revenue recognition.
• Manage cash forecasting and relationships with banks/investors.
• Implement and improve financial systems and internal controls.
• Prepare materials for board/investors and support fundraising.
