Job summary

Everytable in Los Angeles is seeking a hands-on Vice President of Finance & Accounting to lead FP&A, accounting, treasury, and financial reporting. You will partner with the CEO and executive team, own the financial model and cash forecasts, and drive strategic financial decisions for a mission-driven food company.

The role requires strong leadership, ability to present to the Board, manage a growing team, and collaborate with operations, sales, and manufacturing to optimize margins and capital

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience.
• Prior experience as a VP of Finance, Head of Finance, senior finance director, divisional CFO, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, accounting operations, and internal controls.
• Demonstrated ownership of budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, cash planning, and management reporting.
• Experience managing and developing finance and accounting teams.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Experience with ERP and business intelligence systems.
• Strong communication skills with executives, Boards, investors, lenders, and operating leaders.
• Willingness to be highly hands-on and accountable for execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead FP&A, accounting, financial reporting, treasury, audit, tax, and finance operations.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closes and ensure timely, accurate financial statements.
• Maintain accounting policies, controls, reconciliations, and documentation per U.S. GAAP.
• Lead annual audit and oversee tax compliance and external accounting relations.
• Manage banking relationships, debt compliance, covenant reporting, and lender communications.
• Partner with operations, sales, retail, foodservice, and manufacturing to drive margin improvement.
