Job summary

Larson Maddox represents a leading EPC contractor seeking a Vice President, EPC Contracts to guide enterprise-wide contract strategy, negotiations, administration, and risk management across large-scale energy infrastructure projects.

The role partners with executive leadership, legal, commercial, and operations to ensure favorable outcomes, while maintaining compliant contracting practices across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 15+ years of contract management experience in EPC/power/energy/infrastructure.
• 5+ years of leadership experience in contract management.
• Extensive experience negotiating and administering high-value EPC agreements.
• Strong understanding of construction contracting and risk allocation.
• Experience partnering with internal legal teams on risk and dispute resolution.
• Experience in a public company or complex corporate environment.
• Proven ability to influence executive leadership and drive decisions.
• Strong communication, negotiation, analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Track record of improving contract management processes and systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiation, development, and execution of EPC and major project contracts.
• Develop and implement enterprise-wide contract management strategies and policies.
• Partner with legal and operational stakeholders to mitigate risks.
• Provide guidance on claims management, change orders, amendments, notices, and disputes.
• Support project teams with contract interpretation and execution throughout delivery.
• Lead negotiations with customers, subcontractors, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Build and mentor a high-performing contracts organization.
• Collaborate with executive leadership on commercial strategy and risk management objectives.
• Evaluate and implement systems to improve contract administration and efficiency.
• Prepare and present contract performance metrics and risk assessments.
