Job description

The VP, Enterprise Platforms serves as a strategic leader for Celestica’s global IT landscape, reporting to the CIO. This role is responsible for driving enterprise-wide digital transformation by modernizing IT platforms. The global IT strategy is moving from a model of 'supporting the business' to 'accelerating the business’ and this position bridges the gap between complex business strategies and executable technical roadmaps, leading a team of over 150 professionals. A primary focus is establishing an architecture that accelerates delivery, advances AI across enterprise support functions and into platforms, and pursues efficiencies through end-to-end process engineering and selective technology upgrades, while maintaining the secure, resilient foundation required to support a global manufacturing organization. A secondary focus will also include leveraging AI and AI enabled capabilities within IT itself to improve the quality and efficiency of software development processes and system support/maintenance activities.

As a member of the IT senior leadership team, the role will be influential in shaping the culture of IT and accelerating the delivery of enterprise application solutions.

While partnering with IT Business Partners, the role will also have responsibility to evaluate new technology, develop compelling business cases and build strategic roadmaps that maximize return on investment for Celestica.
