Job summary

Baltimore Development Corporation (BDC) is seeking a Vice President, Research, Analytics & Economic Planning in Baltimore, MD. This role leads data analytics, GIS, BI, and strategic economic planning to drive inclusive growth and measure community impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a data-related field; master’s preferred.
• 10+ years in data analytics, GIS, BI, or economic planning with at least 5 in a senior role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and ability to drive data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Develop and govern data and GIS strategy aligned with economic goals.
• Lead enterprise data and GIS architecture for BI and spatial analysis.
• Manage data integration from city data, business databases, demographics and indicators.
• Build executive dashboards and maps for real-time visibility.
• Track KPIs and report program outcomes and community impact.
