Job summary

Catalyst Brands LLC is seeking a VP of Technology - Digital & Platform Engineering to lead modernization of our digital and retail tech stack from Plano, TX. You will drive strategy, scale global teams, and foster a high-velocity, quality-driven engineering culture.

You will oversee API-first platforms, cloud-native architectures, and omnichannel initiatives for eCommerce and OMS, balancing speed with platform health and customer value. Strong DevSecOps and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or closely related field.
• 15 years of progressive engineering experience.
• 4 years managing consumer facing technologies, releases, DevOps, performance and scalability.
• Experience designing and optimizing digital platforms powering high-traffic web channels.
• Experience modernizing complex legacy systems and launching new digital capabilities.
• Experience with core digital systems (eCommerce, OMS) and omni-channel strategy and execution.
• Leading global, distributed engineering teams and ensuring Agile project execution on time, within scope and budget.
• Experience in enterprise scale integration technology such as SOA and Enterprise Service Bus.

• Lead modernization of the retail technology stack, transforming legacy systems into cloud-native, API-first platforms and enabling composable commerce, real-time architecture, and scalable personalization across core systems like eCommerce, and OMS.
• Build and scale high-performing, inclusive engineering teams by designing agile operating models, developing global talent, and coaching leaders to balance speed, scalability, and platform health.
• Drive engineering excellence and innovation by embedding a product mindset, advancing modern DevSecOps practices, and fostering a culture of psychological safety and continuous improvement.
• Serve as a hands-on technical leader, actively engaging in architecture decisions, mentoring senior engineers, and creating frameworks that balance standardization with innovation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver scalable digital solutions, translating strategic goals into tech capabilities and advising executives on personalization, modular design, and fulfillment innovation.

Special Skills or Other Requirements:

Must have experience with each of the following:

Travel requirements: Up to 20% domestic and international travel for business meetings, trainings, and stakeholder engagements.

Pay Range

USD $365,000.00 - USD $365,000.00 /Yr.
