Citi is seeking a Data Scientist and Model Developer on a fixed-term contract through December 2027 to advance AML AI/ML and GenAI models. You will work in a team focused on transactional data, model lifecycle management, and cross-functional initiatives with strong governance and risk controls.

Qualifications

• Proven AML model development experience and strong financial crime knowledge.
• Experience with statistical and AI/ML model development and regulatory expectations.
• Strong programming in Python and SQL, with big data skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops, enhances, and monitors AI/ML/GenAI models within AML monitoring.
• Manages model lifecycle including development, evaluation, and reviews.
• Translates business needs into data criteria and analytic engines.
• Identifies modeling opportunities and presents recommendations to senior staff.
• Leads large projects and ensures risk controls and governance.
