Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a Vice President of Technical Operations to lead end-to-end CMC strategy across Drug Substance, Drug Product, and CMC Program Management. You will drive development from candidate selection through commercialization and lifecycle management in a global regulatory environment.

The role requires a Ph.D./MS with extensive small-molecule development and strong cGMP/regulatory experience, with proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and external manufacturing

Qualifications

• MS/PhD required with VP-level pharma experience.
• Extensive small-molecule development/manufacturing experience.
• Deep Drug Product formulation/process development expertise.
• Strong cGMP and FDA/ICH/global regulatory knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead Technical Operations and CMC Program Management across Drug Substance, Drug Product, and CMC activities.
• Develop phase-appropriate CMC strategies from IND through post-approval lifecycle.
• Provide technical leadership for small-molecule Drug Product development and scale-up.
• Oversee Drug Substance development and manufacturing including tech transfer and validation.
• Manage portfolio deliverables, dependencies, budgets, and governance.
• Oversee CDMOs/external manufacturing partners for development and manufacturing.
• Lead commercial manufacturing and lifecycle management activities.
