Job summary

WSP USA in Charlotte, NC seeks a Vice President Civil Engineer to lead CCR Landfill & Solid Waste consulting. The role covers waste management facility design, permitting, and operations planning, with CCR focus.

You will direct project teams and serve as a senior consultant for clients, while advancing business growth in the Power market. You will mentor staff, oversee proposals, and travel up to 10% for client meetings and site visits, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance across CCR/MSW

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering required.
12+ years in civil engineering design with CCR regulations experience.
North Carolina PE registration required.
Proficient with AutoCAD Civil3D and advanced Excel.
Strong leadership, communication and project-management skills.

Responsibilities

Lead project teams delivering civil and environmental engineering services.
Provide technical direction and client-facing leadership for CCR/MSW projects.
Develop and execute strategies for new and follow-on contract bids.
Mentor team members and support proposal development and post-submission activities.
Coordinate with external agencies and ensure safety and quality standards.
