Rekruiting Advisors LLC seeks a seasoned Commercial Lender in New York to manage the full loan cycle from application through closing. The role requires evaluating credit risk, structuring loan terms, and coordinating with underwriters and loan committees. You will build client relationships and ensure compliance with banking regulations.

The ideal candidate has seven years of commercial lending experience, proficiency in MS Office, and strong communications. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration preferred or equivalent experience.
• Seven (7) years of experience as a Commercial Lender.
• Commercial & Industrial lending experience required.
• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service and attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a team with compliance.
• Knowledge of state and federal banking compliance regulations.

Responsabilidades

Primary Job Duties
• Responsible for business development activities and generation of new C&I loans.
• Interviews prospective applicants and request information related to the loan or credit application, corresponds with the applicants and resolves any questions about the application.
• Performs a pre-qualification assessment and analysis of the financial condition and risk of the loan request within the framework of the Bank’s credit appetite.
• Gathers and analyzes information necessary to present a financing request to Management and/or Loan Committee for approval; meeting with existing or potential customers, visiting sites of the loans, negotiating loan terms and conditions; approves loans within established lending limits or refers and recommends acceptance to the Chief Credit Officer or Loan Committee.
• Coordinates the process of approved loans, ensuring loans are processed according to agreement, customer documentation are in the files, solves issues related to the processing and servicing of the loans and approves loan disbursements in accordance to the approved agreements.
• Responsible for managing the entire loan process: negotiation, working with underwriting and coordinating the closing of commercial & industrial loans.
• Monitors the loan portfolio to ensure safety and soundness and takes the necessary actions to remedy any deficiencies or gathering missing documentation.
• Responsible for adhering to the Bank’s policies and procedures regarding lending, credit, BSA and any other policy.
• Maintains good customer relationships and seeks cross-selling opportunities and takes a proactive approach of retaining existing customers fostering the customer relationships.
• Responsible for the administrative portion of the customer relationship reviewing NSF, overdraft, wire transfer, BSA requirements, etc.
• Responsible for completing annual training program assigned.
• Performs other functions and/or duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration preferred or equivalent experience.
• Experience: Seven (7) years of experience as a Commercial Lender.
• Commercial & Industrial lending experience required.
• Advance computer skills including but not limited to proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate at all levels of the organization. Bilingual (English and Spanish) is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills, ensuring satisfaction of both internal and external customers.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to multi-task, with strong organization, time-management and prioritizing skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment, in order to ensuring compliance with department procedures.
• Knowledge of related State and Federal banking compliance regulations and operational policies.
• Ability to understand and comprehend instructions, procedures and policies ensuring compliance with the Bank’s policies and procedures.
• Advanced knowledge of lending and compliance regulations, and other Bank lending policies.
• Problem solving and analytical skills in order to identify problems and present them to the appropriate parties.
