Here, you’ll find innovation, stability, and the chance to grow your career as part of a team that’s always looking ahead.

Position Overview

The Vice President, Business Relationship Management (BRM) is a senior technology and business leader responsible for aligning enterprise technology capabilities with strategic business objectives. Serving as an extension of the Business Executive Leadership Team (ELT), this role shapes business and technology strategy, ensures strong partnership across functions, and drives high‑value outcomes through technology solutions. The VP will lead a multi‑disciplinary team—including Business Relationship Managers, Business Analysts, and IT Support—to translate business needs into technical roadmaps, ensure successful delivery of initiatives, and optimize ongoing operations through a single, accountable point of contact for the business.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Partnership & Business Alignment

Serve as a strategic advisor and extension of Business ELT members. Partner with ELT on business strategy, business cases, KPI development, and prioritization. Co‑create technical roadmaps with business and IT leaders that support long‑term enterprise objectives. Provide critical input to annual operating plans, resource planning, and technology investment decisions. Ensure clear alignment between business objectives and IT strategies, projects, and capabilities.

Business Objective Delivery & Portfolio Accountability

Ensure all initiatives, enhancements, and programs are aligned to business scope and strategic intent. Lead the team responsible for gathering, validating, and prioritizing business requirements. Oversee execution of projects and enhancements related to systems, data, cybersecurity, and new technology. Drive operational excellence and optimization of business‑critical systems and processes. Monitor success metrics and deliver continuous improvement recommendations.

Single Point of Contact for IT Partnership

Act as the face of IT to assigned business units—owning communication, expectation management, and escalation management. Partner with IT leaders to address system enhancements, new technology requests, risk mitigation, and cybersecurity concerns. Ensure timely, effective communication regarding project progress, risks, changes, and operational impacts. Build trusted, transparent relationships with business stakeholders across all levels.

Leadership & Team Management

Lead and develop a high‑performing BRM organization—including BRMs, BAs, and IT Support roles (final structure TBD). Establish standards, frameworks, and governance models for engagement, requirements, prioritization, and delivery. Cultivate a culture of partnership, accountability, service excellence, and strategic influence. Mentor team members to grow skills in strategy, consulting, communication, and technical understanding. Align team capacity to business demand and adjust structure as needed to support enterprise growth.

Qualifications
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in IT, business consulting, business relationship management, or related strategic roles.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with executive‑level business leaders to shape strategy and deliver technology‑enabled outcomes.
  • Proven ability to translate complex business needs into actionable technical plans and roadmaps.
  • Strong background in project/portfolio management, process improvement, and enterprise technology environments.
  • Exceptional communication, influence, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Experience leading large teams and developing talent in cross‑functional environments.
  • Advanced degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
