Morningstar’s Business Development team seeks a Vice President to grow revenue and deepen relationships within our largest strategic accounts. Based in Chicago, this role focuses on expanding Morningstar Direct adoption and related services across the U.S., with ~30% travel and close collaboration with SVPs.
You will drive strategic account plans, demonstrate product capabilities, and negotiate to close opportunities while building long-term client relationships in the finance industry.

The group primarily serves the following client segments: Wealth Management and Asset Management as well as Retirement and Alliances & Redistributor.
Morningstar’s Business Development Team seeks a highly motivated Vice President, Business Development focused on growing revenue and building relationships within our largest strategic accounts. Aligned with the SVPs of Business Development for those accounts, you will deepen our footprint within key areas. By focusing on growing adoption of Morningstar Direct, our core institutional platform, you will further represent Morningstar’s solutions to address our clients’ most pressing workflow challenges through additional services, in particular Report Distribution. This role covers opportunities across the U.S., and will require approximately 30% travel. This position is based in our Chicago office.
(Base Salary+ Target Incentive): $115,925-177,758
