Job summary

Northwell Health is seeking a Vice President of Quality, Behavioral Health, to lead quality strategy across the Behavioral Health Service Line. The role requires developing and implementing a BH quality plan, overseeing metrics, analytics, and performance improvement by partnering with executive leadership and clinical teams.

The VP will drive a data‑driven culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and advance patient safety, equity, and the patient/family centered approach across BH facilities

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of progressive senior management experience in Medical & Healthcare Administration.
• Subject matter expertise and progressive management experience in behavioral health quality.
• Strong leadership and strategic planning capabilities to drive quality initiatives across multiple facilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement BH quality strategic plan aligned with overall quality strategy.
• Oversee data analytics, metrics, and performance improvement methodologies.
• Collaborate with BH leadership and system-wide quality teams to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Education

M.D. or PhD

ACGME-accredited residency in Psychiatry, or PhD in clinical psychology

Licensed in New York or eligible
