Job summary

UF Health St. Johns is seeking an Associate Vice President of Operations to provide strategic leadership across Laboratory, Rehabilitation Services, Pharmacy, Imaging, Facilities, Supply Chain, Security and other clinical support departments.

The AVP will oversee regulatory compliance, drive operational performance, and lead initiatives for planning, activation, and opening of new hospital facilities while ensuring high-quality, patient-centered services and alignment with the hospital’s mission.

The Associate Vice President of Operations St Johns is responsible for the strategic oversight, operational performance, and regulatory compliance of multiple hospital support and clinical service departments, including Laboratory, Rehabilitation Services, Pharmacy, Imaging, Facilities, Supply Chain, and Security. This role also provides executive leadership for project management efforts related to the planning, activation, and opening of new hospital facilities. The AVP ensures the delivery of high-quality, efficient, and patient-centered services while aligning departmental goals with the hospital's overall mission and strategic objectives.

Qualifications

Required Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field

Preferred Education

• Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.

Required Experience

• More than five (5) years of progressive leadership experience in hospital operations or healthcare management
