Selby Jennings seeks a VP-level AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy production-grade AI systems at scale. You’ll work with engineering, quantitative, and business teams to deliver AI-driven forecasting, analytics, monitoring, and decision-support capabilities.

You will lead architecture, mentor engineers, and shape best practices while delivering end-to-end AI solutions that impact risk and decision-making across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software or AI engineering experience.
• Degree in CS, AI, ML, or related field.
• Experience building and deploying production AI/LLM applications.
• Experience with agentic AI frameworks, RAG architectures, or AI orchestration platforms.
• AWS experience, including modern GenAI tooling.
• Background building distributed systems and cloud-native applications.
• Strong systems design and software engineering fundamentals.

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on designing, building, and deploying production-grade AI applications at scale. You'll work closely with engineering, quantitative, and business stakeholders to develop AI-driven systems that support forecasting, analytics, monitoring, and operational decision-making.
