Job Title: VP-Ag Loan Officer

Overview: Build your career with Citizens Alliance Bank! The VP Ag Loan Officer will be responsible for managing an existing Ag loan portfolio and developing new Ag lending business. This will require the candidate to be able to effectively underwrite, structure and close all types of Ag loans in accordance with the Bank's established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Underwrite, structure, and close all types of Ag loans following the Bank’s policies and procedures.
  • Manage an existing Ag loan portfolio and actively develop new Ag lending opportunities.
  • Exercise sound judgment in the loan‑making process and maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of all lending regulations.
  • Perform extensive customer contact and handle all operational aspects of Ag loans in the assigned market.
  • Supervise, when required, other lenders within the department.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analyze financial statements, cash flows, pay records, and tax returns to assess creditworthiness.
  • Present credit applications for approval to appropriate authority as needed.
  • Prioritize workload, manage multiple concurrent projects, and be a self‑starter capable of working independently or in a team.
  • Develop referral networks, suggest alternate channels, and cross‑sell products to meet the Bank’s goals.
  • Maintain a valid Driver’s License and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, including BSA/AML and bank policies.
  • Assist co‑workers as needed and uphold the Bank’s core values of humility, respect, can‑do attitude, effort, and accountability.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED (minimum).
  • Continuing education to maintain job knowledge.
  • Three to five years of banking experience.
  • Three to five years of customer service experience (preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suites.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Ability to use Multi‑Factor Authentication on personal mobile device.
