Today & Tomorrow Educational Foundation (TTEF) seeks a visionary Vice President, Advancement to lead the organization’s fundraising program in Missouri. You will steward major donor relationships, build the team, and implement a multi-year strategy that accelerates philanthropic support.

You’ll partner with the Executive Director and Board to grow the donor base, secure five- and six-figure gifts, and expand CRM-driven fundraising across the footprint of the Archdiocese of St. Louis.

Qualifications

  • Seven-plus years of progressive advancement experience.
  • Portfolio management of 75–100 donors with major gifts focus.
  • Experience with tax credit giving programs or ability to master quickly.

Leadership Opportunity — Changing the Future, One Child at a Time

The Vice President of Advancement is a member of the TTEF leadership team, reports to the Executive Director, and leads the advancement program and team. Serving as a key partner to the Executive Director and Board, the VP is both a strategist and frontline fundraiser. They will be responsible for building the advancement plan, carrying a personal portfolio of significant donor relationships, and developing the team and systems that grow and sustain philanthropic support.

This is a chance for an accomplished fundraising professional to shape the future of our development program, deepening donor relationships, expanding our reach, and unlocking new philanthropic investments.

Mission

Today and Tomorrow Educational Foundation (TTEF), following Jesus Christ’s example of serving those in need, makes a quality elementary education accessible to all children, regardless of faith, by providing need-based scholarships to attend faith-based and other private elementary schools throughout the footprint of the Archdiocese of St. Louis.

TTEF is looking for:
  • Advancement Leadership Experience — Seven-plus years of progressive advancement experience, including demonstrated success securing five- and six-figure gifts and leading fundraising teams.
  • Fundraising & Portfolio Expertise — Proven success personally cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major donors, corporations, foundations, and tax credit supporters, with disciplined pipeline management across a portfolio of 75–100 donors.
  • Tax Credit Program Knowledge — Experience with state or federal tax credit giving programs, or a demonstrated ability to master a technical giving vehicle quickly.
  • Strategic Thinker — Translates mission into a fundable, multi-year strategy and adjusts based on data and donor feedback.
  • Relationship Builder — Establishes trust quickly and sustains authentic, long-term relationships with donors, board members, and colleagues.
  • Coach and Developer of Talent — Develops people, delegates, and leads a high-performing advancement team toward shared goals.
  • Compelling Communicator — Shares the Foundation’s story with clarity and conviction, in writing and in person.
  • CRM & Data Proficiency — Raiser’s Edge NXT or a comparable CRM, including pipeline reporting.
Compensation & Benefits

TTEF offers a competitive salary and benefits package including:

  • Salary range of $125,000 to $140,000

TTEF assists more than 6,400 students annually and aims to expand the number of children receiving tuition assistance. TTEF raises money for three major scholarship programs. TTEF has excellent outcomes: 100% eighth grade graduation rate; 99% high school graduation rate among TTEF alumni; 74% of TTEF alumni enroll in post-secondary education. TTEF has a staff team of 9 and a $17 million annual budget.
