The VP, Account Director, Growth is a hybrid client and growth leader responsible for nurturing and expanding a portfolio of approximately three Publicis Health clients while supporting priority pitches and new-business opportunities across the network. Reporting to Publics Health’s Chief Growth Officer, this leader will translate client and market needs into compelling narratives, future-forward solutions, and measurable revenue growth.
This position sits in the Publicis Health Growth Team and works in partnership with the individual Agencies’ growth teams. This isn’t a sales role – it’s a role that fulfills growth opportunities independently from Publicis Health or supports the Agencies in their own new business pursuits. If the Account Director helps win a piece of business they will have the option to either transition that business to a new Account Lead or to stay with the business. The right person enjoys both account management and growth, thrives in ambiguity, and can mobilize the broader Publicis Health network to deliver.
The ideal candidate is a healthcare agency leader who genuinely enjoys both growing business and leading client relationships. They can hear what a client needs, absorb the medical and market context, and build a persuasive story that moves an opportunity forward. They are equally comfortable leading a pitch, strengthening the work as second chair, or rolling up their sleeves as a hands-on contributor. They are curious about where the industry is going, energized by creating something future-forward, and motivated by the opportunity to help win—and potentially run—the business they build.
Most importantly, they bring confidence without ego, build trust across a complex network, and take ownership for turning promising ideas into measurable growth.
