Job summary

Infra- Metals Co. DBA Delta Steel is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to handle Voortman machinery for cutting, burning and drilling structural steel components. Ideal candidates will read engineering drawings, perform routine maintenance and ensure high quality finishes.

We require 3–5 years of industrial materials handling, English literacy, and Voortman experience. Vaccinated workers encouraged; on-site safety protocols apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years industrial materials handling.
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must have some Voortman experience.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to understand project specifications.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on Voortman equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure precise cutting and drilling as required.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines, schedules and deadlines.
• Troubleshoot and rectify operational issues with Voortman machinery in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
