About Carboncopies Foundation

The Carboncopies Foundation is an international nonprofit dedicated to advancing the science and technology of whole brain emulation—transferring brain structure and functions to a computational substrate. Founded by neuroscientists and technologists, it serves as a hub for research collaboration, education, and public discourse, spanning disciplines such as neuroscience, computer science, nanotechnology, and philosophy.

We organize workshops, webinars, publications, and community events to bring together researchers, students, and enthusiasts interested in developing technologies for precise neural mapping and recreation. Our mission is to extend human cognition and experience beyond biological limitations.

With over 15 years of leadership in the field, our community includes more than 100 volunteers, with 30+ actively contributing today.
