Los Angeles Regional Food Bank seeks a Volunteer Operations Supervisor to lead volunteer events in City of Industry, CA, coordinating schedules, staffing and on-site operations. You will work with the Volunteer Department and other teams to ensure smooth, safe and impactful distributions.

Responsibilities include supervising volunteers, maintaining event data, training staff, and delivering excellent customer service to volunteers while adhering to safety and ADA guidelines.

Formación

• High School Diploma required; at least 2 years of college coursework preferred.
• Experience supervising volunteers or staff.
• Excellent interpersonal communication with diverse staff.
• Ability to adapt communication styles to stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to de-escalate situations.
• Proactive in identifying opportunities and ensuring volunteer compliance.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee Volunteer Department operations and supervise volunteers at events.
• Coordinate events, production scheduling, and messaging with staff.
• Maintain volunteer database and production planning schedule.
• Provide customer service for the Volunteer Department and resolve concerns.
• Communicate across departments to ensure collaboration and quality.
• Adhere to safety and ADA compliance; train volunteers accordingly.
