Duties

• Collaborate with committee members to plan, coordinate, and execute fundraising events that engage the community and attract new supporters.
• Utilize digital marketing tools such as Constant Contact, Mailchimp, and WordPress to craft compelling email campaigns, social media content, and online outreach efforts.
• Develop and manage relationships with donors, sponsors, and community partners through effective communication and personalized engagement strategies.
• Assist in researching potential funding sources including grants, estate planning opportunities, and corporate sponsorships; contribute to grant proposal writing and donor proposals.
• Support data collection efforts by maintaining accurate records within CRM software such as Salesforce or Raiser's Edge; analyze data to inform strategic planning.
• Participate in budgeting activities for fundraising events and campaigns; monitor expenses to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Engage in public relations activities to enhance the organization's visibility through media outreach, community events, and social media management.

Experience

• Proven experience in event planning, digital marketing, or nonprofit development is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or Raiser's Edge; experience with databases like Databases or Wills, Trusts & Estate Law is a plus.
• Strong skills in proposal writing, grant applications, and estate planning documentation preferred.
• Demonstrated ability in relationship management, negotiation, and volunteer management within nonprofit or university settings.
• Knowledge of social media management tools including Mailchimp or WordPress; experience with email marketing campaigns is advantageous.
• Background in fundraising strategies, strategic planning, budgeting, or nonprofit management will support success in this role.
• Excellent research skills combined with a proactive approach to developing new funding opportunities are essential for driving growth.
