Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a dedicated teacher to combine Bible knowledge with engaging classroom instruction for both churched and unchurched public school students. Ideal candidates are active church participants with strong communication and interpersonal skills, who are caring and perceptive in teaching children.

The position requires two years of classroom teaching experience and a mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise's Statement of Faith, plus active church involvement.

Qualifications

• Two years of classroom teaching experience in school or church settings.
• Mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise's beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Complete Training and LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the curriculum and map out lesson plans.
• Build relationships with students and pray for them regularly.
• Maintain attendance records, health notes and class rosters; prep substitutes.
• Keep a clean, organized classroom and manage redemptive discipline.
• Communicate with school staff and LifeWise volunteers; share updates.
• Promote LifeWise's religious mission in all duties.
