Embrace Hospice in Temple, TX is seeking a compassionate Volunteer Coordinator to recruit, train and support our volunteer team, coordinating with interdisciplinary staff to meet patient and family needs in a hospice setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
• Prior hospice/volunteer program management preferred.
• Knowledge of hospice philosophy.
• Ability to organize and develop volunteer personnel.
• Experience delivering volunteer training and orientation.
• Ability to assess patient and family needs for volunteers.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to hospice services.
• Strong communication with interdisciplinary teams and community groups.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Schedule: PT position 24-30 hours per week
