We are seeking a strong candidate to fill our Volunteer Coordinator role servicing our patients throughout the Rock Hill area The Volunteer Coordinator serves as a strategic leader responsible for developing implementing and sustaining a patient centered volunteer and philanthropic program within the region This role focuses on addressing non clinical drivers of health by mobilizing volunteers community partnerships and financial resources to support patients and caregivers The Volunteer Coordinator works in close collaboration with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure volunteer services and foundation resources directly enhance patient outcomes improve care experiences and reduce avoidable healthcare utilization You must have reliable transportation as travel is required daily This is a full time salary based working 8 hr shifts Monday Friday 8am 5pm

Bachelors degree required; Masters degree preferred Healthcare Administration PublicHealth Social Work Nonprofit Management or related fieldMinimum of 35 years of experience in program development community engagement healthcare or nonprofit leadershipExperience with volunteer program management andor fundraising preferredStrong leadership organizational and relationship building skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team environmentPassion for patient centered care and community impactAbility to travel within the region as neededAbility to read and communicate effectivelyStrong written and verbal skillsBasic computer knowledgeAbility to manage and demonstrate effective leadership skillsDemonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills under all conditions and circumstancesAbility to foster a cooperative work environmentTeam player with ability to manage multiple responsibilities and demonstrate sound judgmentMust be able to work flexible hours and travel between offices facilities etc Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state andor organizational requirements and is in good working order
