Job summary

LifeWise Academy invites applications for teaching positions in grades 6-12. Ideal candidates are active church participants with strong Bible knowledge and excellent communication skills, dedicated to caring, committing, and effective teaching.

Selected teachers will complete initial training, teach LifeWise classes using approved curriculum, maintain attendance and class records, keep a well‑organized classroom, and actively communicate with school staff and volunteers to promote LifeWise's

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience (with students) in either a school or church setting.
• A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith
• Active participation in and commitment to a local church whose doctrine aligns with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training: complete the LifeWise Teacher Certification Course within 30 days and participate in annual LifeWise Summit.
• Teach LifeWise Classes: plan with LifeWise curriculum, apply policies, and build relationships with students.
• Maintain Records: keep attendance, rosters, and prepare materials for substitutes.
• Maintain the Classroom: foster a love of learning and manage a safe, well-ordered space.
• Communicate: act as LifeWise ambassador, attend events, and update the program director with stories and photos
