Job summary

The Standard is seeking a seasoned National Accounts professional to manage and grow voluntary benefits for large accounts (>2000 employees). You will retain, identify opportunities, and collaborate with brokers to expand share of wallet across multiple lines of business.

A strong client-service mindset and strategic account planning are essential to success. In this role, you will develop relationships with key decision makers, advocate for clients, and implement strategies to meet retention

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5+ years of National Accounts Life & Health experience.

Responsibilities

  • Retain and grow large accounts (>2000 employees).
  • Identify opportunities within existing book of business.
  • Educate clients on voluntary benefit products and value propositions.
  • Build relationships with clients and brokers/consultants to expand share of wallet.

Job Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for retaining, identifying, and selling Voluntary Benefits for additional lines of business with large size accounts (> 2000 EE). Individual manages book of business, develops, and executes strategies for assigned accounts to achieve retention and growth targets.

Functional Skills
  • Develop and execute strategies for assigned accounts to achieve retention and growth targets.
  • Ensuring prompt issues resolution for existing accounts.
  • Educating clients on products and value proposition to expand client relationships (share of wallet).
  • Develop relationships with assigned clients and the producer (broker/consultant) of the account.
  • Establishes internal partnerships to ensure prompt resolution to any issues may become aware of during discussions.
  • Holds regular discussions with decisions makers at large accounts to educate on market trends and associate needs based on in-depth market knowledge.
  • Develop and execute strategy for large account portfolio retention and growth.
  • Help implement and support the corporate strategy.
  • Provide feedback on changes in the marketplace.

Eligibility to participate in an incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program and plan. Any award depends on a variety of factors including individual and organizational performance. Performance guarantees may be applied to roles with highly incentivized compensation plans for a specified period of time to support a new hire’s transition into the sales incentive plan. Compensation is made up of a base salary, incentives, and/or other bonuses when applicable. This is a minimum range that can be increased based on performance and sales activity.

Salary Range: Base Salary Range: $82,250 - $104,000 + Incentive Compensation Plan Positions will be posted for at least 5 days from original posting date.
