Job summary

Grace Christian Academy is seeking a Part-Time Volleyball Program Director for grades 1–12 and the High School Head Volleyball Coach to lead a Christ-centered program in Knoxville. The role oversees coaching, athlete development, program administration, and growth while aligning with GCA’s mission.

The ideal candidate will recruit and mentor coaches, plan practices, schedule competitions, manage equipment, and assist with promotions and budgeting.

Qualifications

• Clear testimony of personal faith in Jesus Christ and lifestyle of biblical integrity.
• Previous volleyball coaching experience preferred.
• Experience hiring or leading coaches and developing an athletic program strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of volleyball fundamentals, strategy, and athlete development.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to GCA’s mission, student-athlete development, and sportsmanship.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper athlete supervision and compliance with school, conference, and state association policies.

Position Summary

The Volleyball Program Director is responsible for leading and developing a competitive, Christ-centered volleyball program for grades 1–12 and will serve as the High School Head Volleyball Coach.
