Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of athletic coaching courses including First Aid and CPR.
• Athletic Coaching Certification from Florida must be obtained within the required timeline.

Responsibilities

• Administer all aspects of the activity within the district and school policy.
• Follow Florida HS Activities Association and National Federation Rules.
• Provide safekeeping and accounting for program funds when responsible for fees.
• Provides for adequate practice time, organization, and delivery of instruction; coordinates practices and contests.
• Ensure safety, timely communications, and proper supervision of athletes at all times.
