Job summary

Impact Kids is seeking a Volleyball Coach to lead after-school volleyball activities at multiple school sites. The role focuses on safety, supervision, and instruction for students in grades 1–8, teaching basic to intermediate techniques and game strategies.

A positive, engaging instructor will foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence while maintaining strong communication with parents and staff. Applicants should have 2+ years of experience with children and 1–5 years of volleyball

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children (e.g., tutoring, coaching, mentoring)
• 1–5 years of volleyball coaching or playing experience
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required

About Us:

Impact Kids has been providing safe, fun, and meaningful enrichment programs for over 10 years, and today we serve students at public and private schools across the country. Students have a safe space to develop, learn, play, and most importantly, just be kids in our before, during, and after school programs!

Who We Are Looking For:

We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced individuals to coach volleyball in a positive and inclusive environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a deep understanding of the fundamentals of volleyball.

This individual must be able to teach basic and advanced volleyball techniques, foster good sportsmanship, and encourage teamwork. A positive attitude and strong classroom and behavior management skills are a must. The coach should demonstrate excellent communication skills with both children and parents, using clear, concise, and grammatically correct language in all professional interactions with students, families, colleagues, and school staff.

A child abuse clearance and criminal background check are required.

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children (e.g., academic tutoring, athletic coaching, youth mentoring, summer camps)


• 1–5 years of volleyball coaching or relevant playing experience required

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred but not required)
