Position: Middle School Volleyball Coach
Location: Mounds View - Chippewa/Highview/Edgewood
Season: Fall Season
Employment Type: Coaching Position (Part-Time)

Position Overview

DASH Sports is seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and student-focused Middle School Volleyball Coach to lead and develop our student-athletes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for volleyball, a commitment to helping young athletes grow, and the ability to create a positive and inclusive team environment.

The coach will be responsible for teaching fundamental volleyball skills, promoting teamwork and sportsmanship, and supporting the academic, athletic, and personal growth of middle school students.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead organized practices that develop fundamental volleyball skills, techniques, and game strategies.
• Teach and reinforce teamwork, sportsmanship, discipline, and respect.
• Foster a positive, encouraging, and inclusive team culture.
• Prepare athletes for game days against other Mounds View Middle Schools
• Monitor student-athlete participation, progress, and conduct.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all athletes during practices and competitions.
• Follow school policies, athletic guidelines, and applicable safety procedures.
• Model professionalism, leadership, and positive behavior at all times.
• Be able to attend all schedule practice and game days

Schedule

• Teams meet every Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday afterschool
• 2pm-3:40pm practices
• No practice week of 11/23 for Thanksgiving week
• Tuesday/Thursday team 11/17 and 12/10 game day 2-5:15
• Start date: Week of Nov 2nd
• End date: Week of Dec 10th
