Qualifications

• B.A. or B.F.A. in Music, Performing Arts, or a related field (Master’s in Vocal Pedagogy or related field strongly preferred)
• Strong understanding of vocal pedagogy and a passion for continued learning
• Excellent communication, organizational, and self-management skills
• Strong collaborator with a positive and proactive mindset

Responsibilities

• Providing high-level, personalized voice instruction that considers a student’s goals, limitations, differences, and preferred level of commitment
• Preparing students for auditions, performances, and studio events
• Maintaining professional, timely communication with clients and colleagues
• Keeping detailed records of lessons taught, student progress, and assignments
• Managing and maintaining an organized and accurate teaching schedule
• Collaborating with studio staff on performances, recitals, and special events
• Actively contributing to a positive, supportive, and growth-oriented studio culture
• Attending community events and networking opportunities to engage the community
• Identifying opportunities to grow student enrollment through programming and outreach
• Pursuing continuous development through education and performance opportunities
