The role involves evaluating disabilities, coordinating with medical and psychological professionals, and developing individualized rehabilitation plans while maintaining case records and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in vocational rehabilitation, or related field with relevant experience.
• Master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling or related field is preferred for higher levels.
• Clinical or counseling certifications may be required for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional work in program consultation and monitoring; provide guidance and counseling to clients.
• Assist with job placement, evaluation, and development of IPEs (Individualized Plans for Employment).
• Administer assessments and interpret tests to determine client capabilities and rehabilitation needs.
• Coordinate with physicians and disability professionals to determine eligibility and rehabilitation plans.
• Maintain case records and monitor expenditures for services rendered.
