Unitek Learning is seeking a Vocational Nursing Instructor for a full-time day position at our California campus. The role requires a valid nursing license and several years of nursing experience with coursework in nursing education.

Qualifications

• Valid Vocational Nursing License or RN License.
• Minimum of 3 years nursing experience with a Bachelor's Degree OR minimum of 6 years nursing experience with an Associate Degree.
• Demonstrate or willing to acquire skills for utilizing online activities to enhance course content.
• Make continuous efforts to improve quality of instruction by reviewing and utilizing different methodologies.
• Submit required program reports and forms to Director of the program in a timely manner.
• Keep current with new technologies and safety regulations.
• Maintain student records of attendance, grades, and skill check-off forms; assist with program data collection.
• Teach courses at varying times and locations; include days, evenings, weekends.
• Participate in professional development and maintain CE hours to renew licensure.
• Actively participate in committees as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses at a variety of times and locations in response to program needs.
• Instruct both lecture content and clinical rotations (clinical rotations may be days or evenings, on weekdays or weekends).
• Assist with updating and maintaining student files related to clinical requirements, immunizations, and educational requirements.
• Submit required program reports to the Director of the program in a timely manner.
• Stay current with new technologies and safety regulations; maintain records of attendance and grades.

We are looking for a Per-Diem Vocational Nursing Instructor to join our team. Hourly rate is $ 47-51 hourly dependent upon experience and education.

• Vocational Nursing License or RN License
• A minimum of 3 years Nursing experience with a Bachelors Degree OR a minimum of 6 years Nursing experience with an Associates Degree.
• Make continuous efforts to improve quality of instruction by reviewing and utilizing different and innovative methodologies / techniques in teaching
• Demonstrate or willing to acquire skills for utilizing online activities as enhancers to course content/material during interactive teaching and learning
• Assist with reviewing and revising of syllabus for specific course within the program and instructional guidelines
• Submit required program reports and forms to Director of the program in a timely manner
• Keep current with new technologies and safety regulations
• Maintains student records of attendance, grades, and skills check-off forms and assist with program data collection that meet set due dates and deadlines
• Assists with updating and maintaining student files as relates to clinical requirements, immunizations and educational requirements
• Teach courses at a variety of times and locations in responds to program needs
• Teaches both lecture content and clinical rotations (clinical rotations can be days, and/or evenings, on week days and/or weekends)
• Participate in professional development; maintain CE hours to ensure renewed licensure, takes responsibility for staying current with college updates
• Actively participates in committees as assigned, based on availability, taking into consideration teaching responsibilities as priority
