Description

Summary:

The instructor position plays a critical role in the teaching and learning process, ensuring that students achieve mastery of course, program, and institutional learning outcomes. The instructor is responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality instruction, engaging in program improvement processes, and participating in various institutional and student affairs initiatives. This position requires a proactive and dedicated approach to student success, including fostering a positive and supportive learning environment, utilizing diverse teaching methodologies, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure ongoing program and student development

Compensation: The starting pay range for this position is $90,000-$96,000 per annually.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Baccalaureate degree from an approved school (preferred), OR Associate degree AND one of the following: A valid teaching credential, or Have completed a minimum of 1 year full- time teaching experience in a state approved registered nursing or vocational or practical nursing, or psychiatric technician school within the last 5 years, or Met community college or state university teaching requirements in California
  
  
  • Current CA license as an RN or LVN
