Job summary

Zenith Services Incorporated in Hopkins, MN is seeking a Part-Time Vocational Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with autism, intellectual disabilities, and other needs in community jobs.

You will work 1:1 or in small groups, provide personal cares, accompany clients in the community, and follow behavior plans. The role offers competitive pay, benefits for part-time staff, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English language.
• Comfortable with personal cares for males and females.
• Must be comfortable driving large passenger vehicle.
• Have a vehicle with current car insurance.
• Have an acceptable driving record as determined by Meridian Services policy.
• Have a Wi-Fi-enabled device for work related purposes.
• Successful clearance from a DHS Background Study.

Responsibilities

• Personal cares including bathroom supports and medication administration.
• Accompanying individuals into the community to participate in a variety of activities.
• Facilitating personal choice and promoting self-advocacy.
• Helping others understand the individual’s capabilities.
• Following specific behavior plans and program goals.
• Working to improve the quality of life for those we serve.

Zenith Servicesis dedicated to empowering individuals with intellectual disabilities and mental health diagnoses by supporting their success in diverse work environments.We operate a Day Program located in Hopkins, MN that can support up to 50 individuals, and we offer a range of Vocational Services as well. At Zenith Services, we foster an atmosphere where individuals are supported to pursue their dreams and goals while becoming active participants in their communities!

Location: Hopkins, MN and other areas across the Twin Cities Metro area

Wage: $20 hourly including company benefits

Job Summary:

As a Supported Employment Services Direct Support Professional, you will assist individuals with autism, intellectual disabilities, interfering behaviors, and/or medical complexities at their jobs within the community. Staff may be working 1:1 with a person or within a group based on the job site in the community.
