Job summary

School of Rock is seeking a Vocal Instructor for our North & South Palm Beach location. The role focuses on delivering engaging vocal lessons, guiding students through fundamentals, and organizing rehearsals to support performance-based education.

You will create lesson plans, document progress, and maintain strong communication with parents while contributing to a dynamic, student-centered experience in a vibrant after-school program.

Qualifications

• Vocal teaching experience or ability to lead private lessons and group rehearsals.
• Ability to communicate progress and goals to students and parents.

Responsibilities

• Maximize the quality of music instruction including private lessons and shows.
• Ensure students learn the fundamentals of music, not just songs.
• Create and document thoughtful lesson plans.
• Communicate progress with parents after lessons.
• Be visible and accessible in the school; assist in rehearsals and maintenance.
