Job summary

School of Rock Randolph is seeking a passionate Vocal Instructor to inspire students and help them grow as singers and performers. This role emphasizes a positive culture and a love for music, with an emphasis on live performance readiness and student engagement.

Ideal candidates bring strong vocal technique, music theory knowledge, and a commitment to equitable and energetic instruction for learners of all ages. Saturdays availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in vocals with a strong foundation in music theory and technique.
• Prior teaching or instructional experience preferred.
• Ability to teach students of all ages, beginners to advanced singers preferred.
• Familiarity with a wide range of musical genres including rock, pop, and classic hits.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; reliable, punctual and passionate about music education.
• Experience performing live is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one vocal instruction to students of varying ages and skill levels.
• Develop personalized lesson plans aligned with each student’s musical goals and abilities.
• Prepare students for live stage shows.
• Teach proper vocal technique, breath control, pitch, tone, and stage presence.
• Collaborate with other instructors and music directors to support ensemble rehearsals.
• Track student progress and communicate updates with parents and staff.
• Maintain a fun, encouraging, and structured learning environment.

School of Rock Randolph is looking for a passionate and talented Vocal Instructor to inspire the next generation of singers and performers! Preferred applicant age is 20 years and older, must be willing to work Saturdays
