Job summary

St. James Lutheran Church, Burnsville is seeking a Part-Time Lead/direct assigned choir(s) by selecting music, leading rehearsals, and providing a positive and welcoming environment for music fellowship.

This is a stipend position with an expectation for weekly rehearsals and participation in worship as outlined on the worship calendar. Responsibilities include researching and selecting music, leading one rehearsal per week, and coordinating with staff.

Qualifications

• Experience leading choirs or musical ensembles.
• Ability to select appropriate repertoire for Sundays and worship services.
• Comfort communicating with church staff and volunteers.
