Wyckoff Heights Medical Center is seeking a Part-Time Audiologist on-site in New York. You will perform VNG testing, oculomotor evaluation, and caloric testing as part of a multidisciplinary vestibular program.

The role requires an AuD, active state licensure, and proven competency in vestibular assessments. You will collaborate with Otolaryngology, Neurology, and Vestibular Physical Therapy while maintaining accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Audiology (AuD) from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as an Audiologist.
• Demonstrated competency in VNG testing and interpretation.
• Experience working in a hospital-based or specialty clinic environment preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and clinical reasoning skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive VNG testing, including oculomotor evaluation, positional and positioning testing, and caloric testing.
• Conduct vestibular assessments (e.g., vHIT, VEMP, rotary chair) as resources allow.
• Analyze, interpret, and document vestibular test findings accurately.
• Identify peripheral vs. central vestibular pathology and communicate urgent or atypical results to the referring provider.
• Collaborate with Otolaryngology, Neurology, and Vestibular Physical Therapy.
• Coordinate care and testing results with surgeons, physicians, and advanced practice providers.
• Complete timely documentation in the electronic medical record and ensure safety and infection control.
