Job summary

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC seeks a System Administrator (VMWare/SAN) to support a government customer at Fort Shafter, Hawai'i. You will administer enterprise storage, perform routine operations, manage access controls, and ensure compliance with DoD RMF requirements.

Required certifications include DoD 8570.01-M baselines and VMware vSphere 8 or CE. Expect 10x5 core hours on-site with after-hours maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred.
• Must meet at least one baseline IA certification under the DoD 8570.01-M within hire date.
• Must obtain VMware vSphere 8 or storage vendor certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide enterprise storage and data protection/recovery services across DoDIN-A Pacific Theater.
• Manage capacity/performance to meet service levels in HA configurations.
• Control access to VM and SAN storage resources; manage ACLs and credentials.
• Perform routine system checks and status reporting.
