Job summary

27 Virtual is seeking a U.S.-based VCF 9.x Architect who can design and deploy VCF 9.x solutions, with a strong background in VCF Networking (NSX).

You will lead projects end-to-end, oversee junior engineers, enable both sales and customers to select the best-fit VMware solutions, and articulate a transformational journey to clients.

Maintain certification requirements, stay current with VMware products, and train peers by creating technical resources such as whitepapers.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and deploying VCF 9.x solutions.
• Strong background in VCF 9.x and VCF Networking (NSX).

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned VCF 9.x projects from design to deployment, configuration, and validation.
• Oversee other team members' VCF 9.x projects and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Enable sales teams and customers to make informed decisions that best fit their business needs.
• Act as a consultative strategist, presenting a transformational VMware journey to customers.
• Gather use-case requirements and create high/low-level enterprise designs; promote best practices and adoption of VMware by Broadcom solutions.
• Maintain certification requirements and knowledge of the VMware product line; pursue additional competencies.
• Train peers in your competency, creating resources such as whitepapers.

• Lead your own assigned VCF 9.x projects from beginning to end: design, deploy, configure, and validate.
• Oversee other team members' VCF 9.x projects to ensure successful completion and maintain full accountability for customer satisfaction.
• Enable both the internal sales team and customers to make informed decisions that best suit their business needs.
• Act as a consultative strategist, articulating solution design by integrating both technical and business concepts, and presenting a transformational journey to customers.
• Gather use case requirements confidently and create high and low-level enterprise designs while serving as a resource for best practices and driving the adoption of VMware by Broadcom solutions.
• Maintain certification requirements and knowledge of the VMware product line, actively working to improve additional competencies.
• Train peers in your competency, creating resources such as whitepapers.
• Enjoy working with leading-edge technology and being an intrinsic part of a fantastic team.

This position requires a strong background in both VCF 9.x & VCF Networking (NSX). Plus a specialty in other areas such as VKS, vDefend and Avi are a bonus.
