The candidate will support the entire VMware server infrastructure, optimizing systems using Microsoft, Linux, and EMC technologies. Ideal applicants should have strong VMware and Microsoft skills, along with expertise in Linux and Active Directory, ensuring environment stability and top-notch customer service. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and 6-month contract duration.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of VMware vSphere administration within a Cisco Unified Computing System environment.
Extremely strong Microsoft systems skills are mandatory.
Expert knowledge of Linux in an enterprise environment.
Expert knowledge of Active Directory and script execution.
Strong experience in Group Policy Administration.
Above average knowledge of Powershell.
Proficiency with Cisco switches and networking concepts.
Intermediate backup and disaster recovery experience.
Responsibilities
Optimize and implement systems that consist of Microsoft OS, Linux, and EMC.
Ensure server environment stability and compatibility with the server engineering team.
Perform various complicated tasks within the VMware infrastructure.
Maintain a strong familiarity with virtualized server offerings.
