This hands-on position offers daytime hours, a full-time schedule, and competitive compensation of $23.00 - $28.00 per hour. Candidates should be comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and using handheld scanners while ensuring accuracy in stock records.

Qualifications

• Familiar with handheld scanners and basic inventory systems.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stay on your feet throughout shift.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Scan, count, and replenish inventory bins at customer site on a regular cycle.
• Receive shipments, verify quantities against orders, and stage stock.
• Keep the stockroom and inventory areas clean, labeled, and well organized.
• Flag low-stock, overstock, and damaged items and submit reorder requests.
• Pull and stage parts so the customer's crews can grab what they need quickly.
• Use a handheld scanner and inventory software to track stock levels accurately.
• Communicate daily with the site contact on inventory needs and issues.

Description

A growing plumbing supply distributor is hiring Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) Operators to manage on-site inventory at a partner facility in the Los Angeles area. In this role you keep a customer's parts and materials stocked, organized, and ready so their crews never wait on inventory. This is a hands-on, onsite warehouse role with steady daytime hours and real room to grow with the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Scan, count, and replenish inventory bins at the customer site on a regular cycle


• Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities against orders, and stage stock


• Keep the stockroom and inventory areas clean, labeled, and well organized


• Flag low-stock, overstock, and damaged items and submit reorder requests


• Pull and stage parts so the customer's crews can grab what they need quickly


• Use a handheld scanner and inventory software to track stock levels accurately


• Communicate daily with the site contact on inventory needs and issues

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• Prior warehouse, inventory, stocking, or parts-counter experience preferred


• Comfortable using a handheld scanner and basic inventory or computer systems


• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stay on your feet throughout the shift


• Dependable, detail-oriented, and self-directed while working at a customer location


• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record


• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
