Hire Right Recruiting is seeking an Inventory Operator to run the on-site VMI program at a Boise, ID customer facility. You will manage day-to-day inventory, stock, receive shipments, and build a strong customer relationship as the face of the company.

This full-time, on-site role offers benefits and requires the ability to work independently with strong organizational skills. A background check and drug screen are required during hiring.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of warehouse, inventory, or VMI experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage a site without direct daily supervision.
• Experience with inventory management systems or handheld scanners is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day inventory operations at a customer facility, including stocking, receiving, and organization.
• Monitor stock levels and place replenishment orders to maintain agreed-upon par levels.
• Receive and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and condition.
• Conduct cycle counts and reconcile any discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Keep accurate records and provide regular reporting to the account team.

Compensation: $22.00 - $27.00 / hour

Description

A growing supply and distribution company is expanding its Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) program and is hiring an Inventory Operator to run an on-site program at a customer facility in Boise, Idaho. You will be the face of the company inside a busy contractor shop, managing inventory and building the customer relationship every day. This is a full-time, onsite, self-driven role to manage an inventory operation independently and represent the company well at the customer site. This is a full time position with benefits; benefit details are provided during the hiring process.

Key Responsibilities
