Job summary

Christian Dior Couture in the United States seeks a Visual Merchandiser to translate global directives into in-store displays and to manage window and floor changes across boutique locations. You will collaborate with Corporate and in-store teams to uphold the brand’s visual standards.

The role requires 2–3 years of luxury retail visual display experience, strong planning and creativity, and the ability to travel as needed. Nights, weekends, and holidays may be required to support events.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of Visual Display and Merchandising experience in luxury or specialty retail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain visual standards with attention to detail according to global directives for each location.
• Troubleshoot merchandising concerns as directed by leadership.
• Implement window and floor changes, including overnight updates.
• Re-merchandise based on sell-through and product launches.
• Partner with Boutique teams to uphold visual standards.
• Upload store/project photos for corporate approval.
• Support store openings and special events as an integral team member.
• Oversee and organize props inventory.
• Occasional coverage at other boutiques.

Responsible for communicating visual presentation direction and standards in Dior retail locations within the Boutique. Works in close relationship with Corporate and in-store teams to upkeep visuals standards and report back to senior management.

Tasks And Responsibilities

• Maintain visual standards with great attention to detail, according to global directives for each location
• Troubleshoot and address merchandising concerns as directed by the VP of Visual Merchandising
• Implement window changes (overnight) and floor changes
• Re-merchandise according to sell thru and product launches
• Partner with Boutique teams to maintain the visual standards
• Upload store and project photos to internal VM app for corporate approval
• Be an integral team member for store openings, special events
• Oversee and organize Props inventory
• Occasional support at other boutiques

Job responsibilities

Requirements

• 2-3 years of Visual Display and Merchandising experience in a luxury of specialty retail environment
• Strong planning, organization, creativity and originality skills
• Ability to translate design trends to store windows and environments
• Ability to communicate strategically across all levels of the organization
• Strong follow through skills
• Ability to develop and train store management teams, build relationships, utilize skills of workforce most appropriately
• Ability to follow the company’s policies and procedures
• Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to develop a strong understanding of the Dior brand image
• Ability to travel as needed
