Augusta University’s Department of Ophthalmology seeks a vitreoretinal surgeon to join the Retina Service. Academic rank will be commensurate with experience and potential directorship of the retina service line. Board certified/eligible and fellowship training in vitreoretinal surgery are required.

The role includes clinical care, and teaching fellows, residents and medical students, with opportunities for research and leadership. Compensation will be highly competitive.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or eligible in ophthalmology.
• Fellowship training in vitreoretinal surgery required.
• Experience in teaching fellows, residents and medical students is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care to patients in the retina service.
