Job summary

Idaho Eye and Laser Center seeks a Retina Surgeon to diagnose and treat complex vitreoretinal conditions, improving patients' quality of life across Idaho. You will influence the future of our retina service line and collaborate with a skilled team, with potential pathway to partnership.

Ideal candidates will perform advanced surgeries, provide medical retina care, and engage in community outreach while contributing to clinical excellence and practice growth.

Qualifications

• MD or DO board-certified/board-eligible in ophthalmology.
• Completion of accredited ophthalmology residency and vitreoretinal fellowship.
• Strong surgical skills with proven patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced vitreoretinal surgeries including repair of retinal detachments and macular procedures.
• Provide comprehensive medical retina care including intravitreal injections, laser treatments, and AMD management.
• Collaborate with ophthalmologists, optometrists and staff for seamless patient care.
• Participate in community outreach and education to raise awareness about retinal health.
• Contribute to practice growth through mentorship and leadership in clinical excellence.

• Perform advanced vitreoretinal surgeries, including repair of retinal detachments, macular hole surgery, and diabetic retinopathy interventions.
• Provide comprehensive medical retina care, including intravitreal injections, laser treatments, and management of age-related macular degeneration.
• Collaborate with our team of ophthalmologists, optometrists, and support staff to deliver seamless, patient-focused care.
• Participate in community outreach and education to raise awareness about retinal health.
• Contribute to practice growth through innovation, mentorship, and leadership in clinical excellence.
