Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification required.
• 1 year experience as an EKG technician preferred.
• Completion of a Basic EKG course with knowledge of cardiac rhythms.
• EEG credentials preferred within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, stat, pre-operative and outpatient EKG testing.
• Perform adult and pediatric EEGs and ensure quality recordings.
• Assist in supplies, storage and equipment maintenance for EKG/EEG.
• Generate reports, charting and delivery to neurologists.
• Coordinate with nurses, physicians and staff to ensure smooth testing.
